How Outshore started
Matthew was running a growing business in NZ and, like many Kiwi founders, hit the ceiling: too many small tasks, not enough time to actually grow.
He tried hiring offshore the DIY way. Hundreds of applications, awkward time zone chats, two hires that ghosted, one that inflated their CV. It was meant to free up time. It cost him weeks.
Eventually it worked, but only because he'd built a proper process for screening, onboarding and managing a remote team. That process became Outshore.
